Immersion Chiller

Equipment Overview

The Immersion Chiller achieves rapid temperature reduction by direct heat exchange between a liquid medium and the material, and is suitable for food processing scenarios requiring rapid cooling of the material.

The equipment form and configuration are designed according to the customer’s material, packaging method and capacity requirements.

Technical Parameters

The parameters below correspond to the tunnel-type continuous immersion cooling line, model DKN-RHV-2000L (throughput class 2000 kg/h). Other throughputs and site conditions are configured to order.

Item Parameter
Equipment type Tunnel-type continuous line (mesh-belt conveying + immersion heat exchange)
Throughput 0-2000 kg/h (varies with product)
Working temperature ≤ -35°C
Temperature control accuracy ±2°C
Cooling-liquid temperature uniformity ±3°C
Tunnel circulation time 20-100 min, adjustable
Tunnel inner chamber 23260 × 2360 × 570 mm (effective belt width 2000 mm)
Overall dimensions (approx.) 28000 × 3500 × 2280 mm
Power supply 380V / 50Hz (3-phase, 5-wire)
Installed power 320 kW
Operating power approx. 270 kW
Heat-transfer medium Refrigerant + food-grade cooling liquid (min. liquid temperature -50°C)

The table shows the 380V/50Hz configuration. 60Hz and other voltage ratings for export markets are re-selected per order. Other throughputs, tank dimensions and refrigeration configurations are specified in the technical proposal prepared for your product — contact us to request it.

Installation, Commissioning and Acceptance

  • The power line from the main supply to the electrical cabinet is installed by the buyer.
  • The equipment is delivered to the buyer’s site and installed and commissioned by the manufacturer’s personnel.
  • Acceptance: on arrival the buyer checks appearance, configuration and safety; after commissioning, function and operation are checked; both parties then sign an acceptance protocol.
  • Acceptance may also be carried out at the manufacturer’s works with the same scope (the method can be adjusted to actual conditions).

Warranty and After-sales

  • One-year warranty for the complete machine.
  • During the warranty period, faults caused by design or manufacturing are repaired free of charge by the supplier; after the warranty period, long-term technical support plus preferential spare parts and service are provided.
  • The supplier arranges free on-site after-sales assistance visits on a regular basis every year.
  • In case of a fault, the supplier responds by phone or video as soon as the fault report is received and gives a solution within 2 hours; if the issue cannot be solved by phone, the supplier arrives on site within 24 hours, with troubleshooting time not exceeding 72 hours, and the service technician leaves the site after the problem is solved and the buyer agrees.
  • Specific terms such as warranty period, response time, on-site and troubleshooting time limits and service visit frequency are per the signed sales contract.

Applications

  • Food processing stages requiring rapid cooling
  • Materials with requirements on cooling rate and temperature uniformity
  • Cooling sections customized to the customer’s production line pace
