Equipment Overview

The LN2 Tunnel Freezer is a mesh-belt continuous production line. Material enters at the infeed end and is discharged from the outfeed end after freezing is completed inside the tunnel, making it suitable for production scenarios requiring continuous, large-scale freezing. The equipment mainly consists of the body, conveying system, freezing system, and control system.

Main Structure

Body

  • Overall lift-type body design; inner and outer chambers are formed from SUS304 food-grade stainless steel sheet by shearing, bending and double-sided welding
  • Reinforcing ribs are SUS304 stainless steel square tube, all treated with low-temperature foaming to prevent cold air penetration at low temperatures
  • The insulation layer is a multi-layer adiabatic foamed low-temperature insulation layer, 150 mm thick
  • Sealing strips are custom-made from imported raw materials
  • The lifting system has a mechanical structure, with a motor plus worm gear drive for good synchronization, and an automatic locking device
  • The bottom of the body has a shallow V-shaped design with a drain outlet, making it easy to discharge cleaning residue and standing water
  • Lifting stroke: overall maximum lifting height 550 mm, inner chamber 750 mm, for easy parts replacement and maintenance
  • The integrated electrical cabinet is located on the right side of the infeed opening

Conveying System

  • The conveyor belt is an imported high-elasticity SUS304 stainless steel mesh belt, equipped with a variable-frequency speed-regulating motor
  • Fitted with a self-adaptive tensioning device to ensure running tension at low temperatures and extend mesh belt service life
  • Conveying speed can be flexibly adjusted for different products
  • Transmission power is a variable-frequency motor + reducer; the cycle from infeed end to outfeed end is adjustable from 6 to 30 minutes

Freezing System

  • The cooling system supports both manual and automatic liquid nitrogen modes
  • Spray devices are installed both above and below the conveyor belt; they can be operated automatically or manually, and either group can be opened individually
  • The upward and downward spray angles of the nozzles are adjustable
  • The equipment has top-mounted axial fans whose blades do not frost at low temperatures; the air direction is flow-guided by design, with each fan group set at a specific angle to balance convective cooling and temperature field uniformity
  • The exhaust fan and oxygen concentration alarm are interlocked with the equipment: when the exhaust fan outputs a fault, the equipment stops running; when oxygen concentration is too low, the equipment automatically closes the solenoid valve and the exhaust fan keeps running

Control System

  • PLC intelligent control with a touch screen HMI, capable of storing multiple freezing processes
  • PT100 platinum resistance temperature measurement, measuring range 200℃~-200℃
  • Equipped with main control and monitoring temperature sensors and a feedback system

Installation Requirements

  • Wiring from the main power line to the electrical control cabinet is to be completed by the buyer
  • Exhaust ducting, liquid nitrogen and the liquid nitrogen tank are to be provided by the buyer
  • The tunnel is a continuous production line, so space must be reserved at the infeed and outfeed ends for operation and conveying connections

Service

  • 1-year warranty on the complete machine, 2-year warranty on the control system
  • Free on-site after-sales follow-up visit arranged every year
  • A solution is provided within 2 hours of receiving a fault report; if the issue cannot be resolved by phone, we arrive on site within 24 hours and clear the problem within 72 hours
  • Long-term technical support and spare parts supply after the warranty period
