DKN-RHV-100 is the cabinet-type immersion rapid cooler with the smaller single-batch capacity in the Kunning Cryo RHV series: RHV denotes compressor refrigeration, rapid cooling and tank structure, and 100 denotes a single-batch capacity of 100 kg. Heat exchange does not rely on blowing cold air; instead, basket-loaded products are immersed in food-grade low-temperature freezing liquid for direct contact heat exchange, and the series freezing liquid temperature can be as low as -50℃. The unit consists of three parts: the tank, the compressor refrigeration unit and the control system, with a 380V/50Hz three-phase five-wire power supply, suitable for processing sites with small batches and frequent switching among multiple product categories.
100 kg is the nominal batch value; the tank volume and actual loading amount are calculated based on piece weight and basket arrangement.

Structure and Configuration
Tank and Insulation
- The inner and outer walls of the tank are formed by welded SUS304 food-grade stainless steel plates, with reinforcing ribs at load-bearing positions, so they do not deform under long-term load.
- The outside of the tank is provided with multi-layer adiabatic foam insulation to reduce heat absorption by the freezing liquid from the environment.
- The lower part of the tank is inclined for confluence, equipped with a drain pipe and shut-off valve, so liquid change and cleaning can drain to the bottom; the upper cover can be opened for loading and inspection.
Freezing Liquid Circulation and Refrigeration
- The refrigeration unit is compressor refrigeration with coolant circulation; the cooling capacity is selected based on single-batch capacity, inlet temperature and target temperature.
- The freezing liquid is a food-grade medium; concentration and cleanliness are monitored according to working conditions in daily operation, and concentration fluctuations affect liquid temperature stability.
- The circulation pump is configured according to tank volume to make the liquid temperature in the tank uniform and avoid local temperature differences extending the cooling time.
Control and Safety
- Touchscreen input plus PLC intelligent control, PID automatic regulation, capable of storing multiple process programs for one-key recall by category.
- Temperature measurement uses PT100 platinum resistance; after the program ends, it automatically alarms and cuts off power.
- Protection functions cover compressor overload and overcurrent, high and low pressure, over-temperature, phase sequence and phase loss, and anti-freezing, equipped with emergency stop switch and grounding.
Application Scenarios
| Scenario | Description |
|---|---|
| Central kitchens and group catering | After a batch is cooked, it goes directly into the tank for cooling, shortening workshop spreading and cooling time |
| Deli and braised food processing | Small batches with multiple categories, one pot one basket, fast program switching |
| Small-batch seafood processing | Shrimp and shellfish are directly immersed for heat exchange, with no air-blow drying loss |
| Trial production and new product sampling | Small-batch process verification, scaling up after parameters are proven |

Installation Conditions
- Site: reserve space for loading, unloading and maintenance according to external dimensions; the floor is moisture-proof and provided with drainage slope.
- Power: 380V/50Hz three-phase five-wire; the wiring between the main line and the electrical control cabinet is laid in place by the buyer.
- Media: the site needs storage conditions for freezing liquid and refrigerant; when water cooling is selected, reserve the cooling tower position and circulating water route (confirmed per order).
- Environment: workshop ventilation is set according to food processing site requirements; avoid long-term water accumulation around the tank.
Warranty and After-Sales
The whole unit has a one-year warranty; after receiving fault information, a solution is provided within 2 hours; if it cannot be solved remotely, personnel arrive on site within 24 hours and resolve the problem within 72 hours; one free on-site service per year, and long-term technical support is provided after the warranty period.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the single-batch capacity of 100 kg calculated?
100 kg is the batch value. The actual loading amount is calculated based on piece weight, basket specifications and arrangement, and the batch cycle adds cooling and loading/unloading time.
What is the difference between it and DKN-RHV-200 and RHV-1000L?
All three belong to the RHV series, with differences in structure and batch size: RHV-100 and RHV-200 are cabinet-type single-batch loading models with single-batch capacities of 100 kg and 200 kg respectively; RHV-1000L is a tunnel-type continuous production line.
Must products be packaged before entering the tank?
The freezing liquid can contact food directly, so bare products can be directly immersed for cooling, and immersible packaging forms are also permitted. The two have different thermal resistance, so process times are set separately.
What should be prepared for the site and power distribution?
Prepare power distribution according to 380V/50Hz three-phase five-wire; after power is determined, calculate capacity and wire diameter; reserve loading access, maintenance side and drainage outlet on the floor.
